Chapter 1811 - 1442: Failure_4

Right now the entire command hall was full of anxious Spirit Touchers pacing back and forth; when they saw Mankadi and the others come out, they all rushed up excitedly to ask.

"Lord Vice Clan Chief Brunan, Lord Kalron..."

"Has the Clan Leader descended?"

...

"Everyone, quiet!"

Mankadi barked in a deep voice.

At once, everyone of the Eternal Sleep Clan in the command hall fell silent.

"There’s been an incident. The Clan Leader has not descended and will still need some time."

Mankadi formally announced.

Hearing Mankadi’s words, the faces of the many members of the Eternal Sleep Clan turned extremely ugly, but no one dared to make a sound.

"You all know the situation now. Let’s talk about the external battlefront."

Brunan swept his gaze over everyone present and asked.

V-Type Heroic Level Spirit Toucher Heidic lowered his head and reported: "Lord Brunan, the external battlefront is in terrible shape. According to the latest feedback, the Black Meteor Sea has come under attack from Star Ring City’s Fifth Legion and is now in a cease‑fire standoff; the Harborcliff Star Sea has also come under attack from Star Ring City’s Second Legion and is likewise in a deadlock."

"What about the Gray Mirror Star Sea!"

Brunan asked straightaway.

"The Gray Mirror Star Sea has taken the main thrust of Star Ring City’s offensive. The central main battlefield has been losing ground one step after another. With Radiant City and the Kedora Planet Fortress as their spearhead, Star Ring City’s forces have already broken through five blockade lines—Elken, Seaweed, Dider and so on—and now occupy more than half of the Gray Mirror Star Sea Region."

Heidic said, trembling.

"Trash! Trash! It’s all trash!"

Brunan roared in fury.

Just then, a Spirit Toucher hurried in and rushed to report.

"Report! The mobile strategic stronghold at the junction of the Kalenants Star Sea, Gray Mirror Star Sea, and Black Meteor Sea has been destroyed!"

"What did you say? Even the mobile strategic stronghold has been destroyed? The troop deployment over there wasn’t that heavy, but wasn’t the VI-Type Fortress · Amariel stationed there as well? Don’t tell me it was pulled out ahead of time?"

Mankadi’s expression changed drastically as he asked.

"Report, we’ve already lost the neural link with the VI-Type Fortress · Amariel. Barring any accidents, it should have fallen."

The reporting Spirit Toucher said with difficulty.

"What about Aqray and Autad!"

Mankadi demanded furiously.

"According to the neural network’s last monitored data, both were killed in action. And Lord Kirgui also fell on the left‑wing battlefield."

The Spirit Toucher in front of him braced himself and reported.

"So you’re saying we’ve lost yet another VI-Type Fortress Level Weapon? And we’ve lost the entire Gray Mirror Star Sea, with Star Ring City almost at our doorstep?"

Mogasi demanded in a rage.

Everyone present kept their mouths shut; they all felt the way this battle had gone was really too humiliating. But there was nothing they could do—this time the strength Star Ring City was showing was simply too overwhelming.

It was far beyond their expectations; now, they were practically losing on every front.

Brunan raised his hand to cut off Mogasi, who was in a Fury State, then turned his head and said to them.

"Have you noticed that Star Ring City’s offensive this time is very abnormal, far beyond what we anticipated?"

"Yes. To be honest, I still don’t understand what’s going on. Originally I thought once the Clan Leader descended, everything would be easily resolved."

Mankadi replied hoarsely.

"Now that the Clan Leader can’t descend for the time being, we have to face reality and reorganize the entire battlefield. So we first need to know ourselves and know the enemy, and figure out what’s happening. Have we captured any Advanced prisoners?"

Brunan turned to look at his subordinates.

"We’ve captured a dozen or so."

Heidic replied quickly.

"Bring them up!"

Brunan issued the order decisively.

"Yes!"

Heidic immediately turned and left.

Not long after, thirteen officers in Star Ring City uniforms, all bound, were brought up. Among them was one Colonel, one Lieutenant Colonel, three Majors, and eight Captains.

"Hmph! You Eternal Sleep Clan are such goddamn garbage. If you’re going to kill me, then kill me. I, Warren, will never surrender."

Warren glared at Brunan and the others, his face full of rage.

Brunan ignored Warren’s roaring and merely turned to Mankadi and said.

"Mankadi."

"I understand."

Mankadi then walked up to Warren, directly reached out his hand and pressed it on his head. Strands of neural lines stabbed straight into Warren’s skull.

Warren immediately let out a blood‑curdling scream!
