Chapter 128 Yo-yo's Going to Kindergarten!
Chapter 128 Yo-yo's Going to Kindergarten!
It wasn't until one or two in the morning that the triplets finished all their summer homework.
The next day, everyone in the Zhan family got up exceptionally early and dressed formally, all to take Youyou to kindergarten.
Everyone sat on the sofa, waiting for Yoyo to get up and come downstairs.
"I'm a little nervous," Zhan Juzhou said, wiping his palms on his trouser leg.
Zhan Yeqiu found the kid amusing and said, "What are you so nervous about? It's not like you're going to kindergarten."
Okay, he seems a little nervous too; his palms are sweating.
“Hey, I see other kids start kindergarten at six. Do you think our Yoyo is starting a bit too early?” Zhan Chiyan said.
"Where did you hear that from? Six years old? Is that kindergarten? That's elementary school! I seriously doubt you've ever been to school," Zhan Jinxi complained.
Downstairs, the aunts and uncles were having a heated discussion, worrying about this and that, they were really concerned about everything.
Meanwhile, in YoYo's room, the little one was still fast asleep in bed.
Zhan Guiting sat by the floor-to-ceiling window, sipping coffee, exuding an air of refined elegance as he worked.
Actually, he woke up at five o'clock, but he couldn't sleep because YoYo was going to kindergarten today.
At seven o'clock sharp, Yoyo woke up. The little guy stretched and rolled from one end of the bed to the other, several times.
Zhan Guiting sipped his coffee, gazing at the little guy with eyes full of affection.
Suddenly, with a "plop," the little guy rolled and rolled onto the ground.
Although she was in a lot of pain from the fall, Yoyo quickly got up from the ground before Zhan Guiting arrived, glancing at him with a knowing look.
Zhan Guiting watched as Youyou got up on her own, and stopped his attempt to pick her up. He asked, both amused and exasperated, "Did you hurt yourself?"
Just keep doing it day after day.
"Wow……"
If Zhan Guiting hadn't cared, things would have been fine. But the moment he did, YoYo burst into tears, heartbroken and aggrieved, and ran towards him with her arms outstretched.
The man picked up the little one, wiped away his tears, and gently comforted him.
After calming the person down, I took them to the washroom to wash up, change out of their pajamas, put on their school uniform, and then went downstairs.
Everyone was moved to tears when they saw YoYo in her school uniform.
The little guy is really growing up well.
They're already kindergarten kids.
Madam Zhan couldn't hold back her tears and cried. Old Master Zhan quickly comforted her.
Their baby is growing up so fast; he's only a few months old and he's already going to kindergarten.
To their great regret, they were unable to participate in the little one's growth process from 0 to three years old.
But things are good now. They will be by the little one's side through every stage of her growth, growing up alongside her.
Yoyo's kindergarten and the triplets' primary school used to be one, but they were recently separated. However, they are not far apart, right next to each other, and even share a wall that separates them.
The entire Zhan family escorted Youyou into the kindergarten. The scene was so grand that it resembled a "coronation ceremony," attracting envious glances from everyone.
Upon entering the park and arriving at the Cherry Tomato Class 3, a series of wailing sounds followed. On the ground, several children were scattered about, throwing tantrums and calling for their parents.
Yoyo blinked her big eyes, looking at the children who were wailing and crying, her little expression full of incomprehension.
Zhan Juzhou gloated. He thought that Yoyo would do the same after they left. He really looked forward to it and wanted to see Yoyo throw a tantrum and cry her heart out.
Zhan Guiting looked worried, afraid that Youyou wouldn't be able to adapt.
After Grandpa Zhan and Grandma Zhan became familiar with YoYo's class, they went to the principal's office.
The triplets then pulled each of the kindergarten children aside and warned them, "That's my sister. Don't bully her, or you'll regret it."
Some of the timid children were so frightened by the triplets that they burst into tears. When Zhan Jinxi saw this, he quickly apologized to the parents and held the triplets tightly to his side to prevent them from causing any more trouble.
YoYo looked at the children crying their hearts out, blinking her big eyes in confusion. She looked up at Zhan Guiting and asked, "Daddy, why are they crying?"
"Once we get back, it'll be your turn," Zhan Juzhou said with a grin.
Zhan Guiting glanced at Zhan Juzhou.
Qin Yimo was so angry that she dragged him to the back.
"Because you're growing up and going to kindergarten, you'll have to leave your parents. They can't adapt and they're reluctant to let you go, so they cry." The man lowered his head and patiently answered YoYo's questions.
"I won't cry." The little dumpling put her hands on her hips and proudly raised her double chin.
"Oh?"
Zhan Guiting felt both gratified and heartbroken.
It's heartbreaking that this little guy is so willing to sacrifice himself.
It seems that what we can't live without most are not the children, but the parents.
Zhan Guiting glanced outside the classroom and saw a group of parents craning their necks to look inside through the windows.
He definitely wouldn't do that.
"Hey, your older brother is at the school next door. Just call me if you need anything," Zhan Jingwen said to Youyou.
“I’m here too,” Zhan Jingyang said.
“Me too,” Zhan Jingxi said.
"If anything happens, the first thing to do is take out your smartwatch and call your second uncle. He will definitely be the first to arrive."
The uncles chattered among themselves, telling Yoyo to come to them if she needed anything, that she shouldn't be afraid of anything, and that they would always be there for her, protecting her at all times.
Even if she gets into trouble, they can always smooth things over for her. All she needs to do is grow up happily and carefree, and leave everything else to her uncles.
Suddenly, Qin Yimo saw the cherry tomato teacher from Fruit Class 3 walk in, and quickly pulled her aside to exchange a few pleasantries.
Upon learning that they were from the Zhan Group, the teacher naturally showed them more respect.
Zhan Guiting and his uncles, aunts, and brothers accompanied Youyou to play with toys in the classroom, helping her adapt to kindergarten life more quickly.
But they seem to have underestimated YoYo's adaptability.
After Zhan Guiting and the others left, Yoyo was still able to happily talk with her friends, play with toys, and listen attentively to her teacher.
Zhan Guiting stood outside the window, craning his neck to peer inside. His neck was stretched so long that he seemed to want to break through the glass and stick it in to get a better look.
The old father's eyes held a mixture of relief and sadness that she hadn't cried.
“You guys underestimate me, Sister Yo,” Zhan Chiyan said.
"My sister is really amazing," Zhan Baisui said with a smile.
“Yoyo has always been very adaptable; we were just worrying too much,” Zhan Shichao said.
Classes began in the classroom, and the parents who had been waiting outside were reluctant to leave, eagerly peering into the classroom and watching their children intently.
They only left after the head of the teaching department came to drive them away, turning back every few steps. Zhan Guiting and his group were the last to leave the kindergarten.
After leaving kindergarten, the Zhan family members all went about their own business, while the triplets carried their schoolbags and went to the neighboring school to register by themselves.
The three of them are going to be in fifth grade.
