Chapter 319, are we not continuing?
Bo Junxing suddenly stopped all his movements.
He stepped back slightly, lowered his eyes and stared at Shen Feiwan, the dim light casting shadows of varying depths in his eyes.
"Let me put you down," he said in a very low voice, almost a whisper, with a coaxing gentleness, "Shall we go out together?"
Go out? What are you going out for? To tell Lin Xiaoyan that she cheated on him?
Shen Feiwan frowned and remained silent.
The next instant, what responded to Bo Junxing was Shen Feiwan's sudden clenching of her five fingers.
Bo Junxing's breath hitched, and a drop of blood seeped from the wound on his Adam's apple.
Just then, the footsteps that were pointing to the corner suddenly changed direction and headed out onto the terrace.
Immediately afterwards, Lin Xiaoyan's voice came through the phone clearly, "Okay, I'll be right there."
Soon, his footsteps disappeared into the sound of the rain.
In the corner, Bo Junxing's gaze gradually changed; desire receded like the tide, replaced by a chilling tenderness.
"What if he had actually come over just now?" he asked Shen Feiwan softly.
"What kind of look is that?" Shen Feiwan abruptly pulled her hand out of her pants, placed it on his shoulder, and said calmly, "Let go."
"Not loose."
You hurt my back.
Bo Junxing then put her down, but still held her hand tightly. "Let me see."
Shen Feiwan was about to speak when a sudden cell phone ringtone came from Bo Junxing's pocket.
Bo Junxing ignored the call and simply reached into his pocket to hang up. But the annoying ringtone immediately rang again, echoing abruptly between the two of them.
"Getting in the way." He frowned and cursed under his breath, about to cut off the phone again, when Shen Feiwan suddenly reached into his pocket, her fingertips brushing against the inside of his thigh, and pulled out the phone.
"It was Song Yanzhou calling." She glanced at the screen, her tone calm.
Bo Junxing's eyes darkened. "Ignore him."
Shen Feiwan ignored him and directly swiped to answer the call. Song Yanzhou's furious voice immediately exploded, "Bo Junxing! Why did you hang up on me? Where the hell have you been—"
"He's here too?" Shen Feiwan looked up at Bo Junxing.
The person on the other end of the phone gasped sharply, "Shen Feiwan?! He really is with you, isn't he?"
Bo Junxing reached out to hang up, "Hang up."
Shen Feiwan twisted her wrist to avoid his movement and said into her phone, "It's on the terrace, come over here."
"You think I'll come just because you tell me to?" Song Yanzhou laughed angrily. "Do you think I'm that fool, Bo Junxing?"
"I'm hanging up." Shen Feiwan abruptly ended the call and shoved the phone back into Bo Junxing's hand.
On the other end of the phone, Song Yanzhou grumbled and grabbed the waiter, asking for directions, "Where the hell is the terrace?" But his footsteps betrayed him as he hurried toward the restaurant.
As Bo Junxing took the phone, he casually grabbed her wrist. "Why did you call him here?"
The confusion in Shen Feiwan's eyes had faded, and she regained her clarity. "Let's talk."
He frowned slightly, his fingertips caressing her reddened earlobe. She turned her head away, but he wasn't annoyed. "Not going to continue?" His voice was filled with lingering desire. His thumb drew suggestive circles on her wrist.
Shen Feiwan withdrew her hand, but her fingertips inadvertently brushed against the wound on his waist and abdomen. Bo Junxing groaned, and the darkness he had just suppressed in his eyes surged up again.
She took a half step back to create some distance, but as she turned around, he hooked her little finger around hers.
"You bit me." Bo Junxing tilted his head back to show the wound on his Adam's apple, his tone as aggrieved as a large dog's. "Aren't you going to take responsibility?"
