Chapter 469 *Silence*
Chapter 469 *Silence*
Sand Gold, arms crossed: "Which eye of yours saw us running away?"
Director's cut audio track: *Mute*
Gold Placer *Mute*: 【? ? ? 】
Gold Putricide *banned*: 【*******
Director's cut audio track: "Please be patient, the second act of the film is about to begin."
After the sound disappeared, a brief silence fell over the room, not because it was a silent film.
Saber: [They've even given us time to catch our breath. Looks like the enemy is quite confident in their base.]
Saber: [Archer's Master, I see you're quite familiar with the movies. Do you have any leads on that Greddy?]
Gold Placer *Mute*: 【*********************
Saber: [What are you talking about? Archer's Master.]
Gold Putricide *Mute*: 【******************
Xing: [He's been banned.]
Saber's ahoge (cowlick) stood up immediately, and she clenched her fist and pounded it in her hand.
Saber: [Oh, I see. I thought he was insulting me.]
star:【.........】
Saber: [Master, have you been banned too?]
At this moment, the subtitle for "gold dust" reappeared.
Sand Gold: [The ban has finally been lifted.]
Placer gold: [****************]
Xing: [Huh? You got banned again?]
Sand Gold: [It wasn't a ban, it's just that my language was a bit vulgar.]
star:【...........】
"What are you doing...."
The King frowned as he looked at them; he seemed unable to understand their strange behavior.
Star: [Basic operation.]
Saber: [Archer's Master, you already know something, don't you?]
Saber continued to ask about the gold dust.
Sand Gold: [I've only heard of this name. This guy was a bad film director active in the early days of Pinocchio, who made a surprising number of low-budget silent horror films and was particularly good at playing with interesting commercial gimmicks.]
Sand Gold: [However, his name has long been forgotten by the Pinocchios. The film he used to imprison us was something I stumbled upon at an interstellar flea market.]
Saber sighed in regret: "It's just some nobody? This is troublesome."
Sand Gold was puzzled: "What do you mean by that?"
Saber explained: "As beings who have left their mark on history, the legends of Heroic Spirits often conceal their weaknesses: for example, a warrior might be invulnerable to blades and spears after bathing in the River Styx, yet a single blow to his heel could be fatal."
Saber: [I thought I could get some information about this guy's past from you guys. Turns out he's just some nobody you've never even heard of.]
Sand Gold: [He's quite a good match for Mr. Scott; a nobody, but his methods are rather insidious.]
Saber: [However, I have a gut feeling that even if they have the upper hand right now, they can't do anything to us.]
Xing, unusually serious, said: "Those who resort to trickery have little power..."
Saber nodded: "That's right. He was a film director in life, so obviously he wouldn't be the type to excel in combat as a Heroic Spirit..."
Saber: [This can be seen from his Noble Phantasm, which is based on a horror film he made in his lifetime, transforming it into a Reality Marble. Although the ability is rare, it's more like a trap, only able to imprison the victim.]
Gold Dust: [...But if the spikes in the trap can't harm the prey, then the hunter is the one who's doomed.]
Saber: [Right now, this guy has three Servants inside him, oh no, four Servants, and the strongest castles are often breached from within.]
Archer: [...Truly a true leader, always able to accurately assess the situation.]
Archer: [I need to step up my game. This guy doesn't have any obvious weaknesses, but if we can find Assassin's true form and give him a good haircut with a bow and arrow, his Reality Marble will be gone.]
Gold Sands *applause*: [It seems everyone has a clear goal now.]
Sand Gold: [Star, although I have clashed with the Train members in the past, it was all for our own purposes—this time, I have no interest in the Holy Grail, but come with a mission.]
Gold Sands: [If possible, I hope we can have a good opportunity to cooperate this time?]
Xing: [You figure it out yourself... oh no, I mean, it depends on your performance.]
Gold dust *life-giving*: 【***********】
Xing: [Okay, don't worry about it. I've been spending too much time online.]
Saber: [You see, Master, the alliance that Miss Robin wants to build is slowly taking shape. The army has a target; now it's time to act.]
Saber*, full of confidence*: "We saw the exit over there when we came in, let's leave now."
Star*stops*: [Wait, Saber, I have a perfect idea.]
Xing came to the Lone King and, under the watchful eyes of everyone, suddenly sprang up and grabbed the Lone King's leg.
Star*Mourning*: [Help me, Uncle Madman!]
"Uncle Madman?" Gu Wang looked bewildered, wondering how such a title came out of her mouth.
Star*Serious*: [Aren't you a Berserker? And an old friend of Eve's mom, so you're Uncle Berserker.]
“Uh…” The King fell silent.
This was the first time he had encountered such an abstract person.
Even the ancient Mondstadt people didn't have this.
“My name is Dekalapian, not some crazy uncle.”
"Eve's child... never mind, what do you need my help with, child?"
Looking at Xing's innocent face, the King still softened.
Star*points to the sky*: [I want the sky to no longer obscure my vision, I want this earth...]
Saber *waves her hand*: 【Oops, oops, it's this Noble Phantasm.】
Saber looked at the Lone King, thinking that if it were Berserker, he might actually be able to cleave this Noble Phantasm in two.
The king gazed at the stars and pondered for a while.
Just as he placed his hand on the hilt of the sword, a voice reached his ears.
Then, the king lowered his hand.
"I'm sorry, I can't break this Noble Phantasm." The Lone King's face was very serious, and there was no trace of lying.
Saber*disappointed*: [So even Mr. Berserker couldn't do that?]
Saber: [It seems this director is quite talented, just not well-known.]
Archer: [So, we still have to rely on ourselves.]
The group left the room and entered the corridor, where an eerie atmosphere permeated the entire space.
Xing*shaking her head*: The corridor has no end.
Archer: [Hmph... an endless corridor, and room layouts completely different from where we came in. What an annoying barrier.]
Star*shrugs: [This feels so strongly like something out of a movie.]
Archer: [If we can't calm this space down, it will be very difficult to get out of here.]
Saber: [What is that?]
Saber jogged over to a television set that was displaying static.

[Prison Gazette Issue 13]
Screams, Blood, and Entertainment: An Interview with the Author of "Midnight Chainsaw Fantasy"
Written, directed, and starring Gregory G., *Midnight Chainsaw Massacre*, the first film ever made in the history of Asdna Prison, has already garnered over a million viewers. To mark this occasion, we spoke with director Gregory G. to hear his insights on his success.
Reporter: The production of bubble films is a groundbreaking technology. Completing such an invention within a prison is even more difficult. How did you manage to create this entirely new technology from scratch?
Greta: The idea came from an experience of washing my face. I found remnants of dream memories on the mirror, and that's when I realized that while dreams are elusive, the memories that carry them are controllable.
If there were a machine that could stabilize memory in the state of recording dreams and capture them, wouldn't it be possible to create a camera specifically for dreams? Luckily, I learned some machine repair skills before going to prison. I assembled discarded parts from the prison and tinkered with them for about a year or two before finally making this little gadget.
Reporter: How did you come up with the idea of filming a movie in a prison? Or a horror movie?
Greddy: At first, I just used this machine to record some images from my dreams, but after a while, it got boring. Then ███ suddenly suggested, "Why don't you make a movie? You're just killing time anyway." Entertaining yourself alone is ultimately dull, but if it could bring some excitement to the monotonous prison life...
Initially, filming in synesthetic dreamscapes didn't go smoothly. They had thought they could create scenes and actions at will within the dream, but the dream state often fluctuated between two extremes: either too stable, just like reality, requiring meticulous prop making and set design; or too chaotic, like a jelly, with the actor's face changing nine times in a second. Because dreams were so difficult to control, many scenes were even filmed on sets in a real prison.
As for horror films, firstly, the budget is relatively low, and the restrictions on filming are not as high. Secondly, having lived a long life between prison and nightmares, I think people might need more stimulating entertainment. Finally, and I'm not afraid to admit it, the last thing I did before going to prison was to go to the cinema to watch a horror movie. I was halfway through when the company dogs carried me into a spaceship. Perhaps making this type of film is also a way of continuing that unfinished movie.

Gold dust: [What is this thing?]
Xing: [The interview transcript from that time?]
Saber: [Look again carefully, are there any weaknesses in the Assassin class?]
Archer: [Looks like I'm going to disappoint you, this is just a self-indulgent interview.]
The group abandoned the television and continued down the corridor, only to find themselves in yet another identical room.
Saber: [It seems we're back to square one...]
Archer: [If we don't find a solution, we might be stuck forever. Master, why don't you try leaving behind your chips and dice as markers?]
Gold Sands: [You don't need to tell me, I already tried it... I just didn't expect Greedy to be so greedy.]
Director's cut audio: "Mr. Extra, don't slander me! I'm just cleaning the set as usual to prevent any unimportant props from ruining the scene."
Director's cut audio track: "The next scene tells the story of company employees trapped in a corridor of vengeful spirits, suffering eternal torment."
Director's cut audio track: "There is no way to escape, no one will lend a helping hand, and any struggle you make here is meaningless."
Suddenly, the song of a robin drifted over.
Star*Angry*: [Wasn't this supposed to be a silent film? Why can't we make a sound?]
Gold-plated **unexpectedly: [Is that... Miss Robin's song?]
Saber: [Greddy, it seems you've forgotten that we're not the only ones trapped in your Noble Phantasm.]
Sand Gold: [This is the tragedy of insufficient funding, Grady. While you're overwhelmed with writing, directing, and starring in your own projects, on the other side of the set, Miss Robin has already found a way to break the deadlock.]
Director's cut audio track: "Wh-what, insufficient budget? I, I'm... Yes, that's right, this is a groundbreaking production that blends elements of silent film, drama, sketches, horror, suspense, science fiction, detective work, war, and action-packed novels!"
Director's cut audio track: "If you don't understand, don't talk nonsense!"
Gold Dust* (disdainfully): 【Look, you're in such a hurry again.】
Director's cut audio track: *Mute*
Sand Gold* (Mute)** Spreads out hands*: 【**************
After the director's cut audio track left, no one cared about Sand Gold's silence anymore. It was assumed that he had been hanging out with Potio for a long time and was always swearing.
Saber: [Everyone, let's move forward to the music!]
.............
Meanwhile, Scott and Assassin got into an argument.
"Producer, you useless piece of trash! Why can't you even manage to sneak attack two characters who have no fighting ability?!" Assassin yelled.
"And this music... why can't my Noble Phantasm suppress it?"
“No, you’re blaming me? Aren’t you the director? Even in the silent film era, movies had soundtracks. I know that myself!” Scott didn’t back down at all.
The first lesson for surviving in the workplace: never take the blame!
Assassin suddenly fell silent.
