Chapter 92 The Manor Swimming Pool: Learning to Swim
Chapter 92 The Manor Swimming Pool: Learning to Swim
If she doesn't give me her account number, she won't be able to pay me back?
Robert is seriously underestimating Ning Yao's abilities.
Ning Yao snorted inwardly and, as she walked into the castle, picked up her phone to send a message to her people.
She planned to arrange for a large group of people to spend money at Robert's luxury store, with the spending amount far exceeding the value of the gifts.
Dinner needed time to prepare, so Ning Yao went back to her bedroom first, took off her clothes, and took a bath in the bathroom.
Lying in the luxurious bathtub, Ning Yao lazily draped her slender, fair arms over the edge of the tub, her eyes slightly closed.
The Duke of Y country is not someone to be trifled with, especially since Clauris is Bruce's legal wife.
Even if Bruce dislikes his legal wife, she still has a legal status, and besides, the Duke's power is backing Clarice up. The two sides are intertwined with countless interests...
Ning Yao was unsure how much Bruce cared about Clarice, and even less certain whether Bruce would continue to work with her once he found out that his wife's leg was broken because of her.
Everything was uncertain. Ning Yao knew that attending the Bruce family party tomorrow might put her in a very dangerous situation, but Bruce was a crucial piece in her revenge plan, and she couldn't give up easily. She had no choice but to take a gamble.
After taking a shower and changing her clothes, Ning Yao went downstairs. Dinner wasn't ready yet, so she decided to take a stroll around some more.
Tonight is the last night she'll be staying at this manor, and Ning Yao is really a little reluctant to leave.
On the way, Ning Yao encountered several maids from the castle. She greeted them and chatted with them in English for a while, trying to get information about Robert out of them. However, the maids were very tight-lipped, and Ning Yao did not get any useful information.
Unable to find out anything, Ning Yao gave up. As she walked, she came to the edge of an outdoor swimming pool, where a figure was swimming rapidly. The figure was incredibly fast and agile, like a black shark that could bite someone to death at any moment.
This is Robert's castle. Who else could be in the pool but him?
Ning Yao didn't want to see Robert wearing only a pair of swim trunks. Just thinking about it was too erotic, let alone seeing it in person.
That handsome, almost devilish face, shirtless, his muscular physique glistening with water droplets, and the tight, dark swim trunks beneath him…
Ning Yao blushed and turned around, intending to slip away quickly before Robert noticed her, to avoid any embarrassment.
“Miss Bella, you should learn how to use the rights of being the mistress of the castle.”
Robert emerged halfway out of the water, his long, strong elbow casually resting on the edge of the pool, and looked at Ning Yao with a smile.
"What do you mean?" Since Robert had taken the initiative to talk to her, Ning Yao left without looking back, which made her seem somewhat like she was fleeing in panic. She braced herself and turned around to look at Robert in the water.
“You are the mistress of the castle, there is nowhere you can’t go, and you don’t need to avoid seeing the master swimming naked.”
Robert's physique was impeccable. He had just come out of the pool, his body still wet with water droplets, and his toned muscles and tall, strong body exuded the charm of male hormones.
Ning Yao took a closer look at his thigh, but couldn't see any visible scars, so she quietly looked away.
Robert walked to the long table to the side, picked up a bottle of mineral water, unscrewed the cap, took two sips, and then asked.
Can you swim?
"No." Ning Yao shook her head. She was afraid of water, so how could she possibly swim?
She consulted a psychologist and a swimming coach, but no one could help her overcome the trauma of seawater.
"Really not?" Robert smiled as he looked at Ning Yao, his wet black hair dripping with water droplets, and the curve of his lips was exceptionally beautiful.
Ning Yao was stunned for a moment, but after she came to her senses, she shook her head and declined Robert's invitation.
"Don't say I can't swim. Even if I could, Mr. Robert is probably at the level of a professional athlete. Why would I be so presumptuous as to challenge you?"
“After you learn it, you won’t necessarily be worse than me.” Robert’s unfathomable deep blue eyes now held a profound and unfathomable quality.
What did he mean by that?
Ning Yao's heart skipped a beat. She looked at Robert, appearing calm on the surface, but her heart was in turmoil.
Even though Ning Yao acted convincingly and hid her emotions very well, Robert still caught a glimpse of panic in her eyes.
He looked at Ning Yao, a wicked smile playing on his lips, and a malicious thought instantly formed in his mind.
Before Ning Yao could react, the man in front of her strode forward, picked her up from the ground, and threw her into the swimming pool without any hesitation.
Ning Yao was quite frightened and instinctively splashed out of the water. However, she was already soaked, and her loosely tied hair had come loose and clumped together in the pool water.
Robert immediately jumped into the water, swam over, and steadily supported Ning Yao's lower back to prevent her from sinking further.
Robert felt no remorse for his wrongdoing, and instead narrowed his eyes with interest, staring directly at the woman who was soaked through with water.
Ning Yao could hardly keep her balance and could only cling tightly to Robert's arm as if it were a lifeline to avoid choking on the water.
Underwater, she glared angrily at Robert with her beautiful fox-like eyes.
The clothes, which were originally loose, clung to Ning Yao's skin because of the water, and the neckline was pulled down hard by the weight of the water, revealing the woman's delicate white collarbone and deep cleavage.
The white clothes became transparent when wet, outlining Ning Yao's perfect and alluring figure, revealing her beauty to men without reservation.
Ning Yao's cheeks were visibly wet, and she bit her lower lip with her pearly white teeth, looking both ashamed and angry.
Ning Yao is afraid of water, and she is currently in the environment she fears most. There is no one else around, only Robert.
Besides, this is Robert's territory. Without his permission, how could anyone else dare to come forward to help her?
If Ning Yao wanted to leave the pool and get ashore, she could only rely on Robert.
“Miss Bella, relax. I’ll teach you to swim. It’s a survival skill you have to learn,” Robert said in Ning Yao’s ear, his voice deep and powerful, as if it were a magic spell.
Ning Yao initially thought Robert was teasing her, but she never expected that he wanted to teach her how to swim.
Ning Yao still felt wronged. She was afraid of water and was thrown into it, leaving her in a mess.
Her watery eyes were filled with a misty haze, giving them a delicate and captivating charm.
"Don't be afraid, I will protect you. Listen carefully to my steps, one by one."
Robert's voice was reassuring, and his hands remained still, resting on her lower back without touching anywhere else.
Unconsciously, Ning Yao followed Robert's instructions, clumsily imitating him. The man stretched out his arm to protect her, making Ning Yao feel a sense of security she had never felt before. It was as if even the azure water in the pool had become gentle and warm.
Ning Yao learned very quickly, and Robert's eyes shone with approval, as if he were looking at his most outstanding student. This look undoubtedly gave Ning Yao great encouragement, and she was able to break free from Robert's control and stabilize her body in the water on her own.
"I told you, once you learn it, you won't necessarily be worse than me." Robert's voice was gentle and deep, making people feel comfortable.
Ning Yao wanted to thank Robert, but she was too embarrassed to say it.
Why can't you just talk to her nicely? Why do you have to throw her into the water and force her to learn to swim?
Ning Yao glanced at Robert, gave him a forced smile as a response, raised her arms and started paddling in the water, then turned to swim back to shore.
But just as she was about to reach the pool wall, her ankle was firmly grabbed by a large, hot hand.
“Mr. Robert,” Ning Yao said through gritted teeth, enunciating each word clearly, “please be a gentleman and stop being so rude to me.”
Robert raised the corners of his mouth, showing no sign of anger in the face of Ning Yao's question. He said nonchalantly, "You learned to swim, and didn't even say thank you before turning around and leaving?"
"Miss Bella doesn't even know manners, why should I be a gentleman?"
