"Dare to interfere between me and Yunzhi?"
Just as the two were facing off, Cheng Shuyan's phone rang several times, forcing him to check it.
Upon seeing the above information, Cheng Shuyan looked surprised.
He frowned, clearly troubled by something.
"If you dare to harm Zhizhi even in the slightest, I will absolutely not let you off!"
Cheng Shuyan did not expect to receive the news at this critical juncture. Although he was eager to know Yunzhi's whereabouts, he was powerless to do anything about it.
He could only warn Ye Chengyan before finally turning and leaving.

"You slink away after uttering a harsh word? Is this the kind of person Yunzhi has her eye on? You're overestimating yourself."

Ye Chengyan curled the corners of his mouth in a smug smile.
Yu Baisu stood quietly to the side, but felt uneasy.

Yu Baisu bit her lip and said softly, "Chengyan, what does this Cheng Shuyan mean? Will he cause you trouble?"
"Him?" Ye Chengyan scoffed, then turned his gaze to Yu Baisu. "Did he do anything to you?"
“No, it’s just…” Yu Baisu’s lowered eyelashes concealed her shifting gaze, “it’s just…”
Her hesitant manner aroused Ye Chengyan's curiosity.
"What did he tell you?"
"He just said that he and Miss Yun are truly in love and he hopes we can give them our blessing."
Upon hearing this, Ye Chengyan's expression darkened further, as if a storm was brewing within him.
"Well, Yunzhi, I really underestimated her."
He was grinding his back teeth.
"Truly in love? She's told that to countless people!"
Yu Baisu felt very uneasy looking at Ye Chengyan's face full of resentment and disgust.
"Chengyan, my leg is almost healed, and I've already been discharged from the hospital."
Ye Chengyan was still worried: "Are you sure? Should we check it again?"
Yu Baisu shook her head: "It's okay, I'm all better now."
Seeing that Yu Baisu didn't seem to be putting on a brave face, Ye Chengyan nodded and said, "I'll take you back to your apartment."
But Yu Baisu took Ye Chengyan's hand and said softly, "Chengyan, I still want to move in with you."
Actually, the last time she went to the Ye family villa with her luggage, it wasn't because Ye Chengyan agreed to let her move in. She was planning to act first and ask for permission later. Who would have thought that she would run into Yunzhi and end up in the hospital again.
Ye Chengyan was about to agree, but then he thought that Yunzhi was still in the villa and he didn't want Yunzhi to see Yu Baisu.
That jealous woman might even dare to harm other women right under his nose!
“You were injured in the villa last time, and I’m afraid you’ll be scared if you see it, so I’ll take you back to your apartment.”
When Ye Chengyan spoke, he deliberately concealed the location of Yunzhi.
This answer chilled Yu Baisu's heart even further.
He used to agree to whatever I asked, but now he refuses without hesitation.
Could it be that Yunzhi really went back to the Ye family?
This set off alarm bells in Yu Baisu's mind. She wanted to find out exactly what had happened and absolutely could not allow Ye Chengyan and Yunzhi to be alone together!
She gently bit her lip, her body frail, like a willow branch that would break at the slightest breeze, making her appear pitiful to behold.
Yu Baisu said softly, "That's true. My body is so weak. What if I keep causing you trouble if I'm by your side?"
She seemed to be enduring a grievance, and Ye Chengyan, being soft-hearted, relented when he saw Yu Baisu's pitiful appearance.
“It’s not that I think you’re troublesome, but…”
"Is there a problem?" Yu Baisu blinked, though she already knew the answer in her heart. "Is it because of Miss Yun? She doesn't agree to me moving in with Xiaoze?"
"Who does she think she is?" Ye Chengyan sneered. "Since you're here to keep Xiao Ze company, then go back."
With him around, Liang Yunzhi wouldn't dare to do anything.
Yu Baisu's eyes flickered, and she said softly.
“Chengyan, I think there must be some misunderstanding between Yunzhi and me, which is why she dislikes me so much. I might as well clear up the misunderstanding. I don’t want to lose her as a friend.”
Ye Chengyan grasped Yu Baisu's hand, feeling extremely gratified.
“You’re always so kind. Yunzhi doesn’t deserve this treatment from you.”
Yu Baisu was so gentle, which made Yun Zhi seem sinister and cunning. She herself had been deceived by Yun Zhi's acting skills and had not seen through her true colors!
Yu Baisu leaned against Ye Chengyan's chest.
"I just regret that we've been separated for so many years. If I hadn't left back then, would things have turned out differently..." Yu Baisu sighed heavily, her eyes secretly observing Ye Chengyan's reaction.

He quickly completed the hospital admission procedures for Yunzhi, and the two of them went together to pick up Yeze from kindergarten.

Yunzhi was awakened by the cold.
She opened her heavy eyelids and realized that she had fainted on the ground without even realizing it.
She just lay there, completely still.
Yunzhi licked her dry lips and struggled to stand up, but then she felt dizzy again, almost falling over once more.
After struggling for a while, she finally untied the ropes binding her hands.

She quickly washed the blood off her face and saw her haggard appearance in the mirror.
Ye Chengyan took my phone; I need to find a way to leave.
Yunzhi left the room, and the villa was now empty except for the sound of her own footsteps.
Seeing that no one was around, she took a chance and tried to leave, but when she reached the door, she heard a cold voice behind her.
"Madam, where are you going?"
Turning around, I saw the butler appear out of nowhere, staring at me expressionlessly.
Yunzhi felt a chill run down her spine.
"I want to leave here."
The butler, however, spoke coldly and mechanically: "You cannot leave here without the master's orders."
